This laser enclosure is designed to provide optimal safety during handheld laser welding applications. It is constructed from Kyrus’s proprietary anodised alumium framework which has been specially designed for guarding and process protection applications. The enclosure features a large interlocked sliding door for easy access and reliable protection – This interlock connects to your laser welder to form part of the safety system.

The laser enclosure is designed for heavy industrial use and provides superior protection from the hazardous laser radiation. Its large size also allows for ample space for welding operations and material handling.

The core enclosure features all of the required features the assemble the enclosure and integrate into the safety system of your hand held laser welder.

Standard Features

• 3m X 3m (nominal) Aluminium Structure and composite panels
• 1.2m Wide hinge door with labyrinth seals
• Safety rated Interlock fitted to the door – This is wired to the laser welder to stop the laser if the door is opened during use
• Illuminated ‘Laser On’ warning signage, which illuminates when the laser is ‘armed for use’
• Floor seals – Prevent reflections and visual line of sight when flooring is uneven
• Upper Trunking – Allows safe and convenient conduit for power cables and other services

• Modular design & construction which allows for future expansion or layout changes

Option Modules

• Option: Internal Power Distribution & Lighting Kit – Provides an internal consumer unit (circuity breakers), power sockets for welding and extraction equipment and LED lighting throughout the enclosure.
• Option:  Roof module offers full protection from harmful laser emissions, sparks and fumes caused by the laser welding process, which is essential is the laser welding process can be viewed from above.
• Option: CCTV System allows safe viewing of the laser welding process from outside of the enclosure.
• Option: Optical viewing window allows safe viewing of the laser welding process when a CCTV system is not desirable.
