Description

A Modular Head & Tail Stock system designed for used with small robots & cobots, the MHDD110 modular system follows the Kyrus philosophy of modularity! This unit is perfect for ‘bench top’ operations with small industrial robots or cobots. Available with a sliding tail-stock, the unit can quickly be adapted to different tools for batch production work.

The MHDD110 series offers a versatile modular range, facilitating seamless creation of single-axis head and tail stock configurations. Engineered for precision, MHDD110 servo heads deliver robust and accurate rotation with high torque capability and a backlash of less than 3 arc/min. The head stock can function either as a stand-alone horizontal axis positioner, or the fixture / workpiece can be supported by the adjustable sliding tail stock bearing,

The tail stock is designed with a hollow bore for cable and service pass-through. Additionally, optional weld earth return brushes can be fitted to the head stock to enable continuous rotation in automated welding applications.

All Kyrus linear tracks and positioners are compatible with any robot brand or model and Kyrus also offers guidance on servo motor selection. For scenarios where a 7th axis motor is not feasible, the Kyrus external drive control unit can interface with your robot to provide precise motion control to the positioner.
